When it comes to this time of year there are so many social engagements and activities taking place that time seems to fly by. With the rush of festivities upon us, it can be wonderful to have someone help out, which is why I got together with the team at Blow Ltd to showcase some festive hair ideas.

You can book a stylist from Blow Ltd to come to your home to create any of these styles for your upcoming festive party and have the stress of getting party ready removed with a few taps on their handy app. You can get £20 off a Blow Ltd service by using the code TTT20 (not an affiliate code – I don’t get anything for sharing this discount offer with you).

For the ultimate Christmas party look, there are so many festive hair ideas out there. However, I love turning to classic starlet waves. I think the style works beautifully no matter what length your hair is and with the right products, this is a look that will last through a meal out, the drinks after and the dancing too. The bonus of the starlet wave look is that the sleek style is how shiny your hair will look under that low lighting.

Christmas Jumper Day is on Friday 15th December this year and I think this calls for cute braids. This half updo is appropriate for work but doesn’t look out of place with a Christmas jumper. I hope you have your festive woolly sweater at the ready! I also love how the braids have been pinned into a slightly messy knot at the back so this style isn’t too neat and done. In fact, if this is a little messy, I think it looks even better!

When it comes to winter in the UK, hat hair is an ongoing problem. So we decided that a way to combat this is to create a hairstyle that works with a hat. These small braids create a frizz resistant side sweep and with the addition of some festive sparkle (I picked mine up from Superdrug) and a bobble hat, I am ready for Christmas markets and a walk out in the crisp winter air. I like that by having some hair showing, I don’t look like a potato wearing a wool hat. And the glitter, although it leaves its mark all over the house, is fun! I think this would be lovely for a walk on Christmas day but I’m not sure how I would recreate this without a Blow Ltd stylist to help me sadly.

Are you in need of some festive hair ideas from Blow Ltd too? I will be calling on the team a few times, I think. I find getting ready for a night out to be easier with a stylist doing my hair whilst I do my own makeup. And if it can happen in my own home, then it saves me the travel time to a salon and I spend longer in my warm home too.
